Forest Schools - week 5
Mr Gordon’s Primary 5 class are working with pupils from Tir-Na-Nog Primary School over the course of six weeks in the Six Mile Water Park to help achieve our Forest School award.
Week 5 was led by Mr Mullen from Tir-Na-Nog and the children were tasked to build a bridge using natural materials around the forest area as well as some wool, clothes pegs and additional bamboo canes. There was a fun design criteria that the children had to work within....each bridge needed to be tall enough for a troll to sit underneath and wide enough for a billy goat to cross!
The children worked fantastically in small groups to construct their bridges and there was a lot of creativity on display today as you can see from the photographs! Well done P5NG!
