P4 have been learning about acrostic poems, where the first letter of each line spells out a word. After looking at some examples and discussing how poems can describe and express ideas, they wrote their own acrostics all about forests. Their poems were a great mix of imagination and descriptive language, perfectly fitting in with their ‘Treemendous Trees’ topic . A great effort from everyone!
