Ballyclare Primary school is one of only 3 primary schools in Northern Ireland that are certified as ‘Apple Regional Training Centres’. As an Apple Regional Training Centre we share best practice on the use of technology both within and beyond the classroom. Led by an Apple Distinguished Educator and many of our Apple Teachers, we aim to inspire excellence and develop confidence in the use of technology. Our aim is to share how this use of technology can improve teaching and learning opportunities for our pupils. Our events are open to all teachers and take place in our school and virtually. 

Across the UK and Ireland, the goals of all Apple Regional Training Centres are to:

• Facilitate training opportunities for teachers to develop skills using Apple technology in the classroom

• Promote Apple in Education and share new products and innovations with educators

• Develop Apple teachers across the region

• Share best practices, build community and inspire excellence
