As part of our Castles topic, P2 paid a visit to Carrickfergus Castle and Museum. We explored all the parts of a castle, such as the portcullis, the keep and the arrow slits. We even got to dress up as some famous castle characters. We then visited Carrickfergus Museum where we learned more about the people who had lived there and looked at some very interesting artefacts. This trip really brought our learning to life and we had a wonderful time!
