Our P7 classes work together and in close co-operation with other year groups to ensure that all children in Ballyclare Primary School receive a broad and balanced curriculum. We encourage independence and responsibility through our P7 Buddy system and our transition to Post Primary programme. The P7 year is busy, and the children are offered a wide range of learning opportunities both in and outside school.
Many aspects of our curriculum are taught as cross-curricular subjects through our topic work and a highlight for the children is experiencing what Victorian life was like during Victorian Day. Our P7 residential is a highlight for many, gaining lifelong memories and experiences with friends.
In Term 2 we start to prepare for our P7 Musical Production, where all children shine! Our Primary 7 year ends with many memorable events and a favourite is our P7 Leavers’ Assembly.
