Helen from SUNI and Aaron and Lee from Ballyclare Presbyterian Church have been visiting P7 recently to deliver the ‘It’s Your Move’ programme, helping them get ready for the move to Year 8.

In the first session, the focus was on change. They explored how people, technology and themselves have changed, and heard from Psalm 139 that they are fearfully and wonderfully made. They had fun with quizzes, learned about the human body and made unique play doh cats to celebrate that it’s good to be different.

The second session focused on making choices. They talked through common dilemmas they might face at their next school and were encouraged to think ahead, take advice and choose wisely. They heard Daniel’s story from the Bible and were reminded that sometimes it’s important to say no and stand up for what’s right.
