P3 pupils have been working on their ‘Water World’ topic and have recently been learning about the water cycle. They explored how water changes state and moves through the environment.

As part of this work, the children carried out a Rain in a Jar experiment to show what happens when water vapour condenses and falls as rain. This practical activity helped pupils to better understand how clouds form and how rainfall occurs.
