P6 enjoyed a fantastic educational trip to the Ulster American Folk Park as part of their Feast or Famine topic. They took part in a workshop exploring Ireland during the Famine period, which helped their understanding of this important part of history.

They also explored a wonderful new exhibition linked to Under the Hawthorn Tree, which they had recently finished reading in class. Seeing the story brought to life really helped bring their learning together. A brilliant day of history and storytelling.
