We had a great time celebrating World Book Day in school. This year’s theme was Bedtime Stories, and everyone came to school wearing their pyjamas, dressing gowns and onesies, ready for a day filled with books and storytelling.

Throughout the day, our classes shared their favourite bedtime stories, listened to their teachers read special stories and enjoyed lots of calm, cosy reading time together. There were blankets, teddies and plenty of smiles as we created a relaxing storytelling atmosphere in school.

Reading before bed is such a special time for children and families, helping to build a love of books and spark imaginations.

Thank you to all our children (and parents!) for making such a fantastic effort with the outfits and helping us celebrate the magic of reading today.
